And did you also see Freshman Josh Thorimbert is starting in goal Friday? He is good, but just turned 18 four months ago.

I think I'll sit behind the UMD bench this weekend just so I can annoy my buddy Huttel!!

Hey ronmexico, do you remember what Huttel did two years ago the last time he played at the World Arena?

I'm thankful to see these two games. CC is very healthy for the first time in months. I think Friday's game is going to be great one. But then again UMD has really kicked our behinds the past few years, and many of those games were right here in Colo Spgs. Have a good Friday Biddco!

Ok UMD .. here's your chance to make me happy. Sweep the Black Bears eh? Combined with Tech's miracle sweeping of the Gophers that would make me blissful. So dear FCC Line .. stop with the extra passes and bury the darn puck like a million times ok?

Yes, I'm still secretly harboring unrealistic hopes for a 6th place UAA finish.

Enjoy the game CCTig. I shall make the trip to tSprings someday! Should have made it in '09 during playoffs...

Hopefully UMD can take at least two points this weekend. Go Bulldogs!

Hey Biddco, you're a great fan! By the way I hung out with Josh Meyer's father (Alvin) in 09 during the playoffs here in the Springs, Josh's father and I went to high school together. And on another subject, a couple friends and I are really thinking about making the trip to your new arena next season to watch our Tigers play the Bulldogs. Hope we can make it!!

You should make the trip! The new arena is very nice and Duluth is fantastic. Ever made the trip to Duluth before?

Also, I am completely fine if we never see Crandall again. He just is a struggle in the net. Reiter did a great job of coming into the game cold and gave us a chance. Any CC fans see the "hand" pass that occurred UMD scored the game tying goal?

Sucks to have a ref a 100 feet (or however long it was) away call off a goal that the ref right next to thought was good (weeeee run-on sentences!)

That sounds a lot like something that happened to the Gophers against a certain team a few weeks ago. :) ;)

I love Duluth, been there just a couple times, but one of those was a honeymoon back in the day! The friend I would travel with has a sister in Duluth.

It was the right call. Clear as day that the Duluth player in the middle of the scrum moved the puck with his hand. The reason why Brad Shephard made the call was because his view wasn't obstructed by the pileup in front of the net. Eagle eye Todd Anderson was close to the CC net and couldn't see what happened. It was a great gutsy call for Shep to make. It was the right call.

The Tigers played great last night. They showed grit and the offense roared back to life. When the Bulldogs come to town, it's always an explosive series.

I didn't see the hand pass but people sitting next to me did. Wrong or right - that could have been goal made my heart sink for a few seconds. The top line for UMD is the real deal and was a lot of fun to watch. I look forward to another good game tonight.
