My last post of the night.

This is for real, a nice gift certificate to the first person who can correctly identify back to me who "Teardrop" is? If no one knows, clues will come every 12 hours or so. Goddard you can play too.

You're from Colorado when you smoke pot because you are "sick".

Wrong answer, since this is a short week and it is almost Wednesday every wrong answer earns another clue. Clue #1, Teardrop has a strong Minnesota connection.

Some of you may know that I went to high school with a few famous people. One of them is actor John Hawkes (real last name is Perkins). John's mother Patricia and my mother are very good close friends in Alexandria, Minnesota. When I go visit mommy I visit Patricia too. This Sunday is the annual Academy Awards and Minnesota's own John Hawkes has been nominated for an Oscar for his role in the movie "Winter's Bone". John is one of five nominated for "Best Supporting Actor" and plays the character of "Teardrop".

In addtion, this movie was filmed in a small southwest Missouri town called Forsyth, I have actually been to Forsyth, Missouri, which is near the Arkansas state line. For many years my wife's family lived near Forsyth, but on the Arkansas side of the state line.

This movie has also been nominated as one of ten for "Best Picture", and the main actress (Jennifer Lawrence) has been nominated as one of five for "Best Actress". Check out the two-minute video clip below and see what you think of this movie. If you have not heard of it chances are pretty good you will after the Academy Awards this Sunday.

Has anyone seen or heard of this movie?
