I used to be with you, but now that Dear Leader says it's a hoax and anyway it's not important and anyway it's not anyone's fault I'd say even money. He's getting perilously close to giving somebody "100% confidence."
 
Last time he had people to force his hand and make sacrificial lambs...this time he doesn't. Plus he does not want to show weakness because once he starts he will never stop.

He is going to Wag the Dog this and hope it goes away. He has already shifted the narrative to "Signal Bad" enough (with the help of a media that has no clue what they are talking about or how to cover it) that he can ride this out if he wants to. He isn't getting impeached and he isn't facing any sort of real party backlash yet (I dont believe for a second anything The Senate GOP says) so he is fine.

Maybe if the media was at least trying like 2017 I would be with you...but most of them aren't even acknowledging how illegal all of this is. They are playing up the safety angle (which is important too obviously) but everything about this story is so illegal and incompetent it boggles the mind. Within a week they will all either forget it or buy the "it was like sending a text to the wrong guy" narrative Faux is putting out there. They don't want to lose access...

Waltz and Gabbard should already be gone...Waltz can't keep his story straight and Gabbard froze and full on lied to Congress. That they aren't tells me they won't be. If they make it to Monday they are safe. Hegseth is safe, the Senate GOP is not going to take it on the chin after going out on a limb for him. JMHO.
 
Stefanik might back out of the UN job because the House is concerned they'd lose her seat in the special election.
