It's $400k (plus some expense accounts) since Mr. Clinton, not that that is more than a rounding error in the Federal budget.

Ah, yes, one of the rituals of the Presidency comes this week: the pardoning of a turkey.

I can't wait for next year when the President wonders why he can pardon an entire foreign country. ;) :D

You're right. To follow up on the original point though...in the world of big decisions (corporate and government), executives control hundreds of millions of dollars and in case of carrot top, hundreds of billions. He's going to have some work/life balance. If it saves him time and makes him efficient, I say do it.

All of this says nothing of his actual decisions which are appearing to be disasterous.

I thought this was an interesting commentary piece in yesterday's Minneapolis paper. At first I assumed it had to be written tongue-in-cheek, but honestly after coming back and reading this thread and similar things online, I'm not sure.
