Re: TRP: Will Wh*re for Pancakes

I jumped off one at Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls, MN. It wasn't very high though, about 20 feet into powder. I lost my my lift pass for it, but didn't care because it was the last run of the day anyway.

Never even heard of that one.

You know what is amazing is the fact that kids can learn on these little MN hills and go on to make national or international impact. See Lindsay Vonn who started at Buck, and others. Two kids in my kid's class are heading for snowboard nationals in CO soon - they both do most of their boarding at Highland Humps.

One of the US National snowboarders was a classmate of mine in High School who spent his time mostly on just one hill back home.

Hong Kong-based Ania Przeplasko, founder of the International Pole Dance Fitness Association, said efforts are underway made to make pole dancing a "test" event for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016. Pole dancers had tried to get on the schedule for London in 2012, but were too late to make a serious bid.

Yeah... it sounds like something you'd see in Rio. :o

Brent: I vote that when we try to find a bar to head to tomorrow night, we try to find one that is carrying the fight. I want to see some good, old fashioned, UFC bloodshed.

Fine with me. Not that I'd be watching it all that much, but at least there will be more booze. ;)

Brent,

You Yoko Ono'd RWD's Gauntlet. You are to the Gauntlet what Mark David Chapman was to John Lennon. I will never forgive you.

but once Vonn realized her potential, she relocated to Colorado by high school.

Face it - Buck Hill sucks for skiing!
