Hey, some of you know my buddy Big Poppa (Matt). I just got word he's been in the hospital since Sunday, and prob won't get out until at least Fri with what he says is a leg infection and a 6-day 102-degree temp. I don't know more than that, but T&P would be appreciated. :(

I'm an engineer, not a doctor, but my first guess would be a staph infection. Hopefully it's not MRSA - that's a beast to get rid of. T&P granted. :(

Hell, he survived sitting on top of a moving car, although he has 13 pins/screws/rods in his elbow to remind him of that.:o I hope he can survive this. :o

On the phone with Big Poppa:

Cellulitis is the initial report. Docs are still discussing. According to him, he's not going to become (his words) "crippy boy" and lose his leg, but no timetable for getting out the hospital. EARLIEST is this Friday, but that's unlikely.

Still getting info. :(

That's exactly what BU2K had a few weeks ago! He's doing fine now. I'm sure he'll be OK.
