Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Well duh. You grew up in one. That's why it doesn't count.
ha.

Not trying to dump on you here ctf, honestly, but your staggering amount of drunk posts kind of contradict this. And while I am fully aware that underage college drinking takes place (a lot), the fact is, you are not of drinking age and your cavalier attitude about that bothers me a bit personally. I don't say anything about it because, really, it's not my issue/problem/concern, (though I do roll my eyes here up on my high horse!) but when you come here and drunk post, and brag about getting pulled over - twice - and not have a driver's license to boot, and so on, I think you need to take what you get on these boards and not whine about the grief you are getting from others here. I totally have faith you will be doing much better academically this semester, because I'm sure that kind of hit you between the eyes. It would have done that to me, that's for sure.
Scarlet, you do make a good point. (You seem to be one of the few that makes legitimate good points, so thank you.)
Might I mention though, I definitely didn't bring up that second pulled over incident (and it was technically legal, since I have a permit and had 3 people over 21 with me), that was ALL bb_dl.

EDIT: I've only drunk posted on weekends, so that didn't technically contradict what I said ;)

You tell her, mom!

I disagree with your edit, but, as I said, not my issue/concern/problem. If you want to binge drink and then spend time here making incoherent posts (and I'm not gonna lie - I've giggled at some of them), you can do that. If doing it only on the weekend makes you feel like you are limiting yourself, I can't do or say anything to convince you otherwise. Not that I should, since, well, I hardly know you and, well, you don't need me to tell you these things. And I really don't care that bb_dl was the one who posted about the second incident. The fact that you were in a position at all to have it happen a second time kinda speaks for itself. I'm thinking your attitude around the first incident was why I think he felt he could post the second one so we could all have a laugh at your expense, but I don't want to speak for him. Me? I'd be mortified if that happened. But that's just me. I'm not expecting you to live my way of life. Hell, I sometimes I wish I didn't live my way of life. But we're not talking me here. :)

And while you shouldn't have to care at all that I sit on my high horse and roll my eyes when I see posts like "I've been in a brothel" (and I'm serious when I say I hope you don't care), you should know that I, among others, see posts like that, which leads to the posting about you. It's all a viscious cycle, I tell ya!!

I told people about you getting pulled over? I mean, its definitely possible, but I was thinking that it was your boyfriend that spilled the beans on that one.

Nope, def you that second time. You posted from the bar, IIRC. He didn't have a chance to post until later that night.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Oh, ok. Well I stand by my decision. The world needed to know. ;)

Haha suuuuure. Whatever you say Mr. Shower Whiskey. ;)

Interesting sidenote, that event should have tipped you off on how the weekend would go. Recall how enamored someone was with my cop?

Hey now. Shower Whiskey is ingenious.

Looking back, there were several things that should have tipped me off.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

I've totally been to a brothel.
But no, 'shrooms & E aren't exactly rampant in the UP.

Bull5hit E isnt rampant in the UP. We got offered some when bb_dl asked the people across the street if they wanted to party

The second time ctf got pulled over, I texted Brent about it and he posted

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

We didn't get offered E, we got offered roofies. As Allan learned, they are not the same.
Shower wine is a much classier option.
Sloe Vag, when the hell did you try the nice option?
True about the many indicators. Sorry for blaming you for the posting, bb_dl.
PB, you'll be lucky if I EVER learn how to cook for you, at this rate.

Especially in a college town. Lots of "city" kids from out of the local area bring it with 'em. You would have to be pretty ignorant to not believe it's there. *edit* And I'm sure the locals have their own sources too.

And I'm sure 'shrooms could be just as easily found too.

Ehh, not a problem.

I'm sure Joe Romano would have the hookup, as long as he's not in jail. Even then, he might have a hookup.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Aparch is right. It's really just a matter of "knowing someone who knows someone who has a downstate/Green Bay/Twin Cities source." Before anyone says anything, no I don't have any personal experience with the process (though knew a couple people who did). :p

Not when the 'wine' is probably Boone's Farm, or comes from a box.
