Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Sloe Vag, when the hell did you try the nice option?

awhile back. Then I got tired of hearing about how great you are when it was quite clear you are a failure. Maybe you can redeem that. I don't know. A lot of people believe in you. I don't.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

I'm assuming Tech has an organic chemistry grad program...if so, you have many different kinds of drugs being made in the labs.

We used to joke about how we were surprised that more equipment wasn't stolen from chemistry labs to put together basement drug labs.

Why steal it when you have access to everything in lab, including the amazing purification instruments?

This.

Apparently her social skills were so advanced, she was already working the street corners of Calumet. Seeing as how she had her career path figured out, they decided she was ready for 1st grade. :p
Doesn't a city need to have intersections in order to have corners?

So we've moved on to discussing ctf as a 6 year-old hooker. Great.

But... but... Calumet has a stoplight!

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Aparch is right. It's really just a matter of "knowing someone who knows someone who has a downstate/Green Bay/Twin Cities source." Before anyone says anything, no I don't have any personal experience with the process (though knew a couple people who did). :p

Freshmen year in the dorms my roommate and his friends used to smoke pot in the room next door to our room all the time. They were pros with the towel at the bottom of the door and the box fan in the window. If I remember they did shrooms a couple times too, and thats when they convinced one of the guys I was a crystal meth dealer. He called me to try and get some. Hilarious conversation. :D

I went in the room once and they had their light bulbs switched to black lights and had stuff drawn all over the walls with highlighters. They even went to one of the labs with plotters and printed off some stoner posters. Good times. I miss the dorms sometimes just because of the entertainment value of dumb people.

Bull5hit E isnt rampant in the UP. We got offered some when bb_dl asked the people across the street if they wanted to party

Supposedly drugs are rampant in Anchorage, particularly crack. That kilo that goes for $20K in the lower 48 goes for $60K in Alaska, and the gangs know it. It also serves as a convenient place to send a member who's in hot water to lay low. Kinda scary, honestly

My roommate's prof showed an entire class the formula for cocaine once, and the steps to create it.

Now that I think about it, he spent a LOT of time in the labs after that...

And we rented a place once (The Cave) where the prior occupants were professional gardeners.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

I'm assuming you guys are *********s. ... I'm pretty smart, as evidenced by the fact that I'm doing well this semester.
Congratulations on doing well in Freshman Study Hall. Why are you in that class again, Admiral AcPro?
I wasn't going to say anything, but you really believe Sloe Gin and jmh care about your grades? You may be smart, but that's just silly.
You don't want to see the grade she gets in Freshman Study Hall? Well, me neither.
More to the point, does she really think decent grades in freshman classes at MTU will convince me that she's not as dumb as a bag of hammers?
Especially when she's taking...guess what.
My roommate's prof showed an entire class the formula for cocaine once, and the steps to create it.
Not surprising, my philosophy professor used to wax poetic about the cost of a lid of pot back in the day.

Listen to him, this is a man who speaks from experience (if you've ever met him, or heard his "music" you know that).

That Travels by Train stuff was freaking horrible. It sounded like Tech hockey looks.
