Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

I don't think I'd go so far as to be a Rangers fan, but I'm a fan of the VP who started this effort.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

Ok, discussing stupid things to do with a lot of money with LWB's better half:

1. Buy out (except the suites) all seats to a Monday Night Football Game.
2. Have 50-100~ people actually attend.
3. Break out the college hockey chants (imagine the Jesus Hates Wisconsin song on that broadcast!)
4. Buy a lot, if not all, the commercial time.
5. Have a bunch of USCHOers have their own commercial: "Hi, I'm (insert screen name) and I love college hockey. Go (insert team)!"
6. (c) internet nerds: Much lulz

60K tickets, $300 per ticket is $1.8MM. The Powerball starts at 10MM, IIRC. Just saying it'd be worth it.

One problem...season ticket holders.

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

I can think of so many better things to spend 1.8 million on.

1. 10 ZR1's
2. 1800 $1000 whores
3. A caribbean island
4. A 1000 acre ranch

Re: TRP: Summer, come now!

CHIEF debuted at, not only #1 on the country charts, but #1 on the Billboard charts overall. Yeah, I might be looking forward to the concert in exactly 3 weeks. :D
(I heard on the radio they referred to the concert as "Eric Church with Toby Keith". Maybe they should get Toby to open the show.

Lots of people like crappy music. In other exciting news, water is wet, the sun rises in the East, and Harvard sucks.

Once upon a time seven-eleven existed in this state. I remember one being in Apple Valley, where the Flowerama now stands -- George's Market before that.

I have never been in a 7-11. Ever.

I used to be a Holiday guy, but now that has been surpassed by Kwik Trip.

Kwik Trip seems to be everywhere around here, which is fine by me. SA was once king in these parts, but they seem to be waning or just not growing like Holiday and Kwik Trip have. I like the Kwik Trip. The stores I've been in have the easiest layouts tp navigate of them all. And they don't gouge you as bad as the others if you're just stopping in for a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread.

Food is better quality, too. Love the deals they have on the pizza/grilled cheese/burgers. Even the breakfast stuff is good.
