I'm a game time decision at best. If it were the NFL, I'd be doubtful on the IR. It's crunch time for that vacation/wedding, and others I haven't seen in a while are demandng attention (yes, I am serious, * you :p).

You know, you can go hang out with us and not waste a bunch of money. Flugtag is free to go to. :p

They had some guy from the Flugtag on KFAN earlier this week, he said they expected 100,000 people to be there. :eek:
While I'm sure that is a huge exageration, there are still going to be a **** ton of people on Harriet Island.

He's blowing **** out his ***.

St. Paul's Irish festival draws about 100k annually - over an entire weekend. Admission to that is free, and there's a ****ton of Irish in the area. If they only draw 100k over 3 days, no way in hell does flugtag match that in a single day.

The fact that its a one time event will help it. It's not like you can just go next year.

I agree. But even if it doesn't get anywhere close to that number, Harriet Island will still be packed. How do you get any decent amount of people close enough to the water to be able to watch this thing? I just can't figure out how it will work out.

If they draw 100k, 85k won't see ****. :p

Maybe they're betting on most people being too drunk to care about their ****ty vantage point.

I dunno, some southerners are pretty cool.

I've generally found people from the SF Bay area to be very agreeable.

Some southerners are pretty cool, but a lot of them are just nice on the surface. At least when a New Englander is nice to you, you know they mean it.
