I'm from NJ, not sure whether that was where you were going with this though.I have always only said that NY is one big concrete patch with a crapload of buildings. And that your parks are our lawns. Never have I accused you of being NJ.
Foopers are pretty much Minnesotans anyway, just look where the UP is. It's more like Minnesota than Michigan.

Vermont & New Hampshire......New York & New Jersey......Michigan & Michigan State......they're all the same.
Now Wisconsin & Minnesota.....difference there is that the only good thing to come out of Minnesota is I-94. Wisconsin has cheese and beer and Super Bowl trophies. Minnesota just has our used-farm equipment of a quarterback.
