Just about forgot, since I've been trying to forget it, because it angers me. Today NewBoss (a 2nd "team lead" hired a few months ago) was running things.
Our radio is played over the loudspeakers around the warehouse. Only bosses have access to the room with the radio, since it's in a room with a bunch of security stuff (camera controls, certain computers, etc). For whatever reason, it was almost pure static today. Here's the convo I had:
Me: Say, the radio is all static. Can you adjust it, or turn it off? Doesn't really matter which.
NewBoss: Well, it was turned off earlier.
Me: Yeah, I know. It's on now. Can you do something with it?
NewBoss: I dunno what to tell you, it was off a while ago.
Me: Okay, we've established that it was off. Now it's on. Can we either tune it, or turn it off again?
NewBoss: Yeah, dunno what to tell you.
How about you actually do more than the minimum to your *ing job and figure it out? It's not that hard. You walk in, you push a *ing button.
