TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

You also haven't had to sub yet. ;)

That's a very good point. However, I usually only take one cup with me to school, so it'll really only involve cutting out the cup I have with breakfast.

I just don't like how dependent I am on it. It really hits when I'm visiting FM up at Tech and there's no coffee there (neither he nor tIG drink coffee nor do they drink a ton of pop, so their apartment is a pretty caffeine free zone). That's ultimately my goal, to lessen my dependence rather than quit it entirely.

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

Caffeine is kinda weird for me. I drink alot of it, in the form of coke and monster, but I can go several days without having caffeine and I don't even notice. It also doesn't seem to keep me up if I have caffeine late in the day, well, unless I have a monster or something with a similar amount of caffeine.

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

I don't drink a lot of coffee, but I do like at least one cup in the morning with breakfast. I could go without it, but I'd rather not.

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

I'm already MUCH better than I used to be. An average day for me used to consist of at least four cups of coffee, two diet colas, and probably at least one sugar free RedBull or Rockstar. I would need at least three caffeinated beverages to get going. Then again, there were other underlying issues there...

Same here. Except, Jolt affects me. Don't ask me why. Coffee can keep me awake really early in the morning. I've gotten caffeine headaches, but that's only when I'm really coffee dependent. Never keeps me up at night.

Why not give up coffee altogether and just start your day with a cold one (or three)? :D

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

Caffeine does not affect me. In any way shape or form. I just like the taste of coffee and Mountain Dew.

I do take caffeinated gels when doing races though. More for the placebo effect.

If not for the 21 mile commute... ;)

No. That would be really bad news.

I love the taste of coffee. That's the other catch.

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

I always need at least a can of Dew when I go into work at 7. But if I don't go in early, I'm usually fine without it. I still usually drink at least a can or two and a bottle in a day, but it's more because I need something to drink rather than for the caffeine.
