Stephen Hawking says there are aliens out there. That means it is true, right? I mean, he's pretty much the smartest person, ever.

Oh, in other news Snooki got in anther barfight.

I'd say he's right, but it doesn't matter. The universe is simply too large and things are too far apart to make it remotely plausible that we'll ever cross paths with another advanced life form (unless somebody develops a method of traveling vast distances in a very short amount of time that far exceeds the speed of light).

I know I've said this before, I agree with Calvin and Hobbs: the surest sign that there is intelligent life our there is that none of it has tried to contact us. :)

I thought the funniest part of what Hawking said was that he predicted that any aliens we did run into would probably be like the aliens in Independence Day. (Not in so few words, of course.)

I posted about it in tLodge. I'm disappointed that I haven't seen any evidence that boobquake is taking place yet today. I should go somewhere for lunch and investigate further.

There has been some on twitter. Some of us couldn't participate today, but boobquaked yesterday...

Agreed - Not only that, but I think he said something along the lines of "take a look around - would you want to meet us?" (obviously paraphrasing).

Some of us did not learn about boobquake until just now.

I believe I will be boobquaking at trivia tonight. Perhaps I'll wear the shirt I've never worn in public because I always think it's too low cut.
