I had no problem with one of them on Friday night, or the shot girl and you saw how well that worked for them. Shot girl started pouring shots down my throat due to how much I was tipping her. :D

I never doubt your drink-ordering skills. That's why I said you massively failed, instead of just failing. :p

I had no problems either night, although Fri we technically had two waitresses for our area.

dx: I know she was really really new, but dunno if it was her first night. Why the hell would you do that to a waitress?! F5 Saturday night? Wild game that day? That's a true trial by fire!

Major accomplishment: Thursday, the bartender stopped charging me for my beer and just put it on other people's bills. $1 drafts, but hey, it's still free beer while screwing over someone else. Before I left I gave her a $10, but it's the thought that counts.

Friday night on the other hand.....jeesh drafts were expensive (not the same bar).

It was her first night, and she had a nervous breakdown at one point. That's why when she came back we told she was doing great, to reassure her a bit, since that has to be tough on a first night.

Gotcha. Due to some of us always moving around the table/bar, and her never forgetting what we ordered, amidst all the chaos, she did do a good job. I did think it helped that we were talking to her and shot girl before the crowd really swelled. But, like dx, she probably didn't know exactly what she was in for. :D

Yeah, she literally ran out of the bar after a pair of sioux floozies spilled beer on her.

My point was I didn't fail at all. I gave her another chance on Saturday and waited an hour before getting mad and going to the bar. In that hour not once did she even come to my side of the table or acknowledge my presence. I'm very tolerant of servers (especially on nights as busy as that) and usually give them the benefit of the doubt, but not in this case.

No, I didn't. On Friday when I stepped to the next section I got asked promptly by that server if I wanted another drink. Stop acting like she was this awesome waitress when she wasn't. She was selective.

And Saturday was not her first night. She said she had her St. Party's Day tips stolen, remember?

I had issues with trying to get water as well. Had to go up to the bar twice.

MNS, now that you mention it, she did say that didn't she.

Then yell at bbdl. I didn't think it was her first night, I just knew that she was really new.

First night at Tom Reids not first night waitressing ever. I got the impression that she didn't used to work at a place as hectic/busy as Reids on a hockey night.

Great final five. Made it back to Colorado last night. We hung out with non-hockey people which was really nice at one point, since hanging around all these morons can get kind of exhausting. :p

And seeing the look on DL's face when he found out Quiz was the porn fairy was priceless to the nth degree

Nothing happened with her. It was obvious that she wasn't interested, so I just went over and chatted after you brought them the shots, got the shot tray back to Destiny and was on my way. No point in trying to force something when she's obviously not interested. The waitress was better looking anyway.
