Sipper Saturday regionals at Chez Rube? I'm not spending any money this weekend. It's nut-cuttin' time for the F5/F4.

Not watch college hockey?! Wha wha wha?! Oh yeah, you're into that whole high school thing. Yeah, me? Notsomuch.

Or, depending on who you may see/hang out with, you could always pass it off, and they can give me the jersey for the F5. MNS obviously the prime suspect. I mean, I still have the Arrogant shirt I can wear. ;)

We'll figure something out.

And you're missing out on the HS hockey. The game that just got over was incredible. The little town form the canadian border takes down the big bad private school from the burbs.

Only game I ever remember saying "I'm glad I watched this" was the 5OT game between East and AV. And I got home from work during the 2nd OT, IIRC. Watched until the end (around 2am, I believe), and worked a 12 hour day the next day, starting at 8am. Funniest thing was, my non-sports roommate was the one who got me to turn the game on, because it was "unbe-*ing-lievable."

That one is an all-time classic game, much less high school hockey game. There arent many games better than that on, period.

I agree. People all day were asking "did you see the game?" No one had to specify. We all knew. The fact that people remember where they were and what they were doing when the game was being played lends to that fact. It's like JFK, MLK, Challenger, 9/11, whatever. Minnesotans regard that as one of the few that are in the category of "That Game."

There's a number of section finals that rate similarly - unfortunately most people never saw them because they weren't televised.

Moorhead-Elk River (1994) immediately comes to mind. I *think* that one went 5 OT's before Moorhead won (game was played in a packed concrete center in St, Clooud).
