Yep, but it gets a pass cause its so darn awesome.

No, it doesn't. there is a TV thread for TV and a movie thread for movies, is that so hard for you to comprehend? Sorry, dumb question, I've read your posts in the politics threads so I know it is too hard for you.

What about a movie-length 1st episode that really is a stand-alone movie, and then if it bombs they don't greenlight the series (like the original Max Headroom) ?

One of my favorites movies is German film Funny Games, which inspired I think The Strangers with Liv Tyler:
I think there is actually an American version of this movie, also called Funny Games, that I stumbled across a couple of weeks ago. Tim Roth and Naomi Watts, along with Michael Pitt. Very, very disturbing movie.

Best horse racing movie - "Let It Ride"

Beyond funny-just a hilarious movie with some great lines and great scenes. You almost never get a chance to see it any more. Trying to find a good copy on DVD is quite a chore. Even the book it is based on "Good Vibes" by Jay Cronley is almost impossible to find in a good copy. On days when my spirits need a lift (like now) it just never fails to brighten me up. This is one movie you have to see several times to catch all the little comments in the background.

"I'm having a very good day."

"You could be walking around lucky and not know it"

"I know what he is not going to do"

Jay Trotter:" May I... buy you a drink?"

Mrs. Davis(Michelle Phillips from the Mamas and the Papas: "I don't see why not. I'm on the pill."

And our favorite-Greenberg: "She has very long legs."

Vicki: "Thanks. They go from my *** all the way to the floor."
