The thing that suprises me most about their helmets is that they still have to tape them by hand. You would think a team like Michigan could convince at least ONE hockey company to prep the helmets for them. Or at the very least come up with something more advanced that a bunch of guys sitting around for a weekend hand-taping helmets.

I thought there was a good reason why they still had to do it by tape...I forgot why.

The players probably get credit for it. A helmet taping class, instead of underwater basket weaving.

It's probably just something that they get a sort of smug sense of satisfaction due to "tradition" over it or something at this point.

Re: Uniforms- Rumblings from ADept are Michigan will change uniforms yet again next year. Home whites will have a Blue Block M, Road jerseys will stay the same and the Thirds will return the "script Michigan" worn in the 90s during the National Championship runs.

However, there are lots of talks of Michigan playing another outdoor hockey game at The Big House next year. If that happens, yet another throwback uniform.

Yes people, 4 different uniform sets in 4 years. 16 ****ing different jerseys in four years.
