I thought I was being nice, by quoting the pertinent part of the article, rather than expecting anyone to click on the link.

Besides, if we pick on the trolls from our fanbase, maybe it will help others to dissociate those trolls from the rest of our fanbase. Oh, who am I kidding?

Its not a gimmick at all. Fans love it, and its great exposure for College Hockey.

I'm sorry but you're wrong, it is most certainly is a gimmick. Some fans do love it and it is great exposure for College Hockey but that doesn't mean it isn't a gimmick.

Merrill & Trouba gone for the GLI.

Just when things couldn't get any worse on defense.

Gotta get 3 points this weekend at the very least, or this regular season may be lost and Michigan will be forced to go on a Playoff run ala 2010.

I just don't get it. So much talent and no results. Things have to pick up, and fast, because Basketball is pretty much #2 with a bullet right now on campus.

Greatly looking forward to GLI mostly because Tech will wear those beautiful gold 3rds. Man they are awesome.

Team USA in the WJCs.

Michigan will also wear 2 throwback uniforms. WITH NO WINGED HELMETS.

So far this team has played like a throwback to the solid blue-helmet era. Schedule doesn't get any easier from here on out.

Those jerseys look like the knock off jerseys I've seen for $30. Interesting.

As for Trouba being gone for World Juniors...that was predictable.

What's the latest word on Merrill? Will we see him back on the ice sometime this season?

I'm so sick of this ****ing jersey carousel that has been taking place. You know they're going to change again next year because of the conference change. And to top off the two new road & third jerseys this year, there are GLI throwbacks throwing back to an era when Michigan was average to awful. Nothing but a cash grab.

Pick a design set, keep it, sit down, shut up and be traditional. There was NOTHING wrong with the jerseys used 2008-09 - 2010-11. The diagonal Maize was and is my favorite. Michigan is starting to become the Oregon of college hockey in terms of the revolving door of uniforms.

If people stop buying them then I'm sure they will stop making them. Teams mix it their uniforms every so often and that's what this appears to me. Plus they have those throwback because GLI was supposed to be outdoors.

Also, all the CCHA teams were planning throwbacks this season for the end of the conference.
