I'm kind of curious about people's opinions on this five minute major for boarding called Saturday night. You'll have to forward it to about the 3:25 mark for the best look at it.
I don't know if you blew up the screen to full size or not, but when I finally did, I'm not even sure he hit the players head. In fact, no contact to the head penalty was called. It was just a five minute major for boarding. It looked incidental, like the CC player was hunched over just a bit which caused the contact with the head. The UND player did go a little high, but not worthy of the major, IMO.
The entire metro area and up though Mille Lacs must be completely out of bait.
Lakes really aren't safe to drive on around here yet. There's even been talks about cancelling the US Pond Hockey Championships this year.
Even with that cold spell? That's surprising.
DNR says 8" for light trucks. Last I heard, just this past weekend, it was 4-6", depending upon where you are through the metro area.
No, people are just messing with you because you're hijacking a troll thread aimed at mocking outrage at our player getting nearly decapitated.
Don't worry, we already have a men's NCAA no-check hockey league for those that want to play that style.there is just no place for body on body contact.
Speaking of cheap shot hacks, how is Seeler doing?
Still can't believe he only got one game for that blatant attempt to injure.
For the people who blame Lucia for Seeler.
Lucia didn't argue the Seeler suspension at all (and I agree it should have been longer). And after the hit on Novak, Lucia kept Seeler off the ice. He knew Seeler was likely to respond.
Hopefully guys like Wittchow and Seeler learn. You can play physical hockey without putting other players in harm's way.
