This Week in Hockey East

Re: This Week in Hockey East

I am guessing both teams were looking for a third goalie like we have seen in a few games.

I think the goalie's union will be looking to prevent games at Matthews. In men's action, BC tooled on Northeastern 9-3 last night. Obviously some bad goalie mojo going on there.

Re: This Week in Hockey East

After watching the PC vs NU goalies dual the last two years today was a little surreal....makes you realize how great they were!

It was very exciting and for those wh say there is not enough scoring or excitement it had it all!

Come to think of it you're right we see so many 2 to 1 games etc, (wasn't there even a 0 0 OT game recently) that we should rejoice that we can see a game where one of the three stars is not a goalie.

Re: This Week in Hockey East

Is that not always the case when you attend a game. :p :D

For the most part. Though it got worse when I was sick for awhile. And gets even worse when they score 8, can't hold a three goal lead and it is an ESPN game.

Interesting fact NU has never trailed or been defeated while playing on ESPN3.

Re: This Week in Hockey East

So Hockey East said the game set a record for goals scored at 15. Prior record was 12 which happened 4 times.
