So last week our group was slightly diminished - missing ECAC notables - Trillium and Onmaa (is that another ECAC characteristic? :p) (And you guys could have really racked up with your ECAC wins by Dartmouth and Princeton!:cool:)

However, the overall winner was an ECAC folk (much to my chagrin :eek:)

Since there isn't really a UConn thread that I am aware of and in the quest to answer the question "what the heck is going on with Uconn?", I noticed that there are 4 players not on the roster that I was very surprised about and hadn't really heard any departure news about. Anyone know what happened to these four - Lauren LeMond, Jessica Lutz, Elisabeth Stathopulous, Monique Weber - all four played all 37 games last year and combined for 67 points.

I'm really curious about this as well. Anyone got any info?

Edit: Weber is transferring out of UConn to be back in MN- will most likely end up at one of the closer Minny universities. Not sure about the other players but would probably be safe to assume they're transferring as well.

Missed the Boat for both last week and the start of this week. I can put the blame on that snowstorm I ran into in the North East (While there was nothing at home) during the festive season.

Funny, but we could say that about BC last season. This year Maine has shown considerable improvement under first year Head Coach Maria Lewis. They are above .500, so a win against any team in the league should not come as a surprise at this point.

It looks like she played in a few game this year, so she'd only have a year of eligibility remaining. If she intends to play D-I, then SCSU would seem to be a good fit, close to home for her, and they can definitely use people that can find the net w/o a map. Weber has 24 career goals; nobody on the SCSU Huskies is in double figures. Bemidji and Mankato also might make good destinations for her.

Wow a lot of juicy picks this week. Hux was the only one to get the Maine over PC prediction correct, Hockeyteacher was the only one to get the Northeastern over UNH right and I was the only one to get the Robert Morris/Uconn split both right (although I would have preferred to get both the PC games right :o). Not sure what angle DC was going down, but I think she voting with her heart! :D
