This Round's On Us: UND at Michigan Tech, March 5-6

Re: This Round's On Us: UND at Michigan Tech, March 5-6

Because I want to see MY team play there. MY team. The Gophers. How many Sioux games have you been to since I've made yearly trips (for MN-MTU series) to Houghton?

RE-BOX!

you could see your team play in an arena 15 miles from your house, playing premier programs like North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota-Duluth. Instead, you see them live during the regular season one time a year, playing an inept team that has Foxton2 as a fan, six and a half hours away, in the worst town in America, all to get some cheap booze, crappy KBC, and stare at "Tech 5's". And as for me, I see North Dakota every time they are out here in Colorado. I've seen them live during the regular season more than you've seen Minnesota live during the regular season. And counting last year's postseason, where Minnesota wasn't a part of it, I've seen my team live a lot more than you have.

Game over. You're done.

You know you suck at life when Geist owns you.

Re: This Round's On Us: UND at Michigan Tech, March 5-6

I'm sure Geist would own you too, he just hasn't tried yet.

Please. The pseudo-BU fan can only dream of that. He doesn't think the Sioux have an enforcer, but if he had to name one he chooses Derek Forbort when it is obviously Andrew MacWilliam. He's just not bright enough to own anyone but the dullest of knife in the drawer.

I heard that it's because lutefisk was pretty much peasant food, something the poorest people ate. Then, many of them came here in the 1800's due to being unhappy. Since then it has been a "heritage" thing, making it so more people eat it here than there.
That's pretty much what my understanding is as well. Of course, my dad's side of the family is among those who can't have a Christmas without lutefisk. :o :D

It's really messed up when you're Icelandic, German, and Mexican.

1. Houghton is not even close to the worst town in the US. you need to get out more SG you are slowing down in your old age.

I've flown all over the country. Aside from Evansville, IN and Greensboro, NC, Houghton is right there. Basically, you and Foxton2 think it's a great town. The rest of the world knows the truth.

There are plenty of other Yooper towns that are worse than Houghton, Houghton is probably one of the better Yooper places to be. You should just say that the UP is the worst area in the country, and you might have a point.

I thought that was just a given. Of course Wisconsin still exists...

Well, it probably would have been part of Wisconsin if Michigan could have convinced the federal government to give them Toledo.
