There will always be an England, but maybe not a UK.

The first two cabinet ministers have lost. Justice Secretary Alex Chalk lost to a Lib Dem. And for the first time in history, the Defense Secretary has lost. Grant Schapps lost his seat to Labour.

Jeremy Corbyn has won his seat, despite being kicked out of Labour, defeating his Labour opponent 24000-18000 votes.

Not all good news though. As expected, Nigel Twatwaffle won his seat. It was only his eighth attempt to win a seat in Westminster.

Watching Novara Media, and they are interviewing a Tory advisor who is saying a good night for the party would be 110 seats.

Labour screwed themselves in a couple places by purging their incumbents who had the poor manners to note Gazans are not insects who can be murdered at will. It cost them a few seats to those incumbents who came back to win as independents, and it cost them a couple others to Tories who took advantage of a split left because, funny story, Muslim British don't like being treated to as subhuman by a presumptive left party.

Weird. When I lived there, labour wouldn’t be caught dead uttering a negative word about Palestinians. Always a few outliers I guess

The prime example is Iain Duncan Smith's seat. Labour had him beaten easily until a few weeks ago they booted Faiza Shaheen from the party. She ran as an Independent and finished third by only 79 votes behind the replacement Labour candidate, with IDS winning. Had they stuck with Shaheen, this would have been a huge pickup for Labour.

We started with about a 20% chance of them falling the double digits. The remarkable thing is how many of the big hitters are losing their seats. Apparently the record of sitting cabinet members losing their seats is 7 and the Cons may break it tonight.

It is so wonderful to see so many of these scum buckets losing. Labour is not wildly popular, but good lord the Conservatives have crippling body odor. Biggest loss of seats in history, going back to 1832, and by a lot. They are going to lose two-thirds of their seats.

Yes. Labour reddit is furious about it. IDS is apparently a POS on the order of, say, John Cornyn.

According to the BBC, in seats that are at least 20% Muslim, the Labour party voteshare has dropped 18%.

When Muslim council members resigned from Labour one of the party officials said it was merely "the party shaking off the fleas."

I can't imagine why people aren't eager to vote for them...

English women on television have no idea how to apply makeup. They all look like Jack Lemon in Some Like it Hot.

God, politicians are as full of the same bullsh-t the world over. Brit conservatives mouth exactly the same idiocies, dog whistles, and lies ours do.

SNP got reamed out, too.

Did I just hear Sinn Fein now holds the most seats in Northern Ireland? The f-ck?

The Conservative mouthpiece on Sky is an almost GOP-level hypocrite.

Be careful who you watch over there. Sky News is owned by Rupert. Most media in England are little more than right-wing mouthpieces. Even the BBC has started tilting to the right.

Penny Morduant had a 15000 vote majority in 2019 and she just lost. Tory c*nt Therese Coffey also lost her seat despite a 20000 vote majority in 2019.

That makes sense, I didn't understand why that loudmouth just keeps yammering on. It's like Fox: news massaged to make excuses for the rubes in the killing jar so they don't get cognitive dissonance.

If there's better coverage please let me know who has it.
