Call me unimpressed by the moral authority of people who shouted to build death camps but blanched at the last minute when their idiots started actually doing it. Fuck them.

The devil is in the details and I have little faith that an Adams-led city government will do this well, but I do not think it's a bad thing to push more people into hospitalization. A high number of homeless people need it due to moderate-to-severe mental illness. Reagan's gutting of the mental healthcare world is still fucking us, 40 years later.

Being in a hospital is probably a better outcome than not for many of these homeless individuals, especially when the temperatures drop in the winter. I won’t claim to know the details of Adams’ plan, so if it turns out it’s excellent and helpful, rather than harmful to those suffering from mental illness, I’ll eat crow. He’s addressing it, which is better than ignoring it. Also, fuck Ronald Reagan.

Looking forward to the lawsuits if and when they actually beat someone's kid. And you know it'll just be a coincidence that it'll be mostly minority students getting beaten.

The sooner Floriduh and the Grand Fascist Experiment they voted for drowns, the better. I wouldn't live there even if you paid me, especially if I had children.
 
Look I'm currently subbing in a school that is a full on bleepshow because the district has all but outlawed discipline (I literally broke up a fight yesterday and both kids were back in my class 5 minutes later...this place is a fucking suburban hellhole) and yet I would never think what that fuckwit county is proposing is a good idea. Kids having a little fear of authority is good...fearing they might get beat by that authority is going to lead to massive massive problems in the best light...teacher death in the worst.

Fuck Florida.
