No one is as bad as the Florida Dems. They took a long purple state that was routinely a 2 point or less margin and turned it into Florabama. Ran a Republican as their Democratic governor nominee and looked confused when he lost by 20.

Iowa Dems said, "Hold my beer." Basically jumpstarted Obama in 2008, voted for him twice, and now is on the verge of going full Kansas.

(2026 is looking at least a little better with decent candidates for the top of the ticket (Senate and Gov.) for the first time in memory, though in fairness they couldn't really fall any further).
