I know what you're thinking, but as we all know there is no legal process or method for secession. Joining the USA is like joining the mob - there's only one way out.

The State of Alaska is suing a local Native tribe that is building a “gaming hall” on their land. I say “gaming hall” because it’s literally a building with some slot machines.
A lot of the reason for the suit is jurisdiction but “stopping the evil of gambling” is as well. The same people screaming about “gambling addiction” are the same people who say nothing about a new liquor store or dispensary or pull tab/bingo hall for “charity”.
Alaska is so ass backwards on even simple things like a lottery. We do have a state lottery but it’s run by a private company for “charity” instead of the state, so no access to the MSLs, all because of the fear of “addiction”.
