Hey now, my grandpa may have been an anti-tax country clubber living in the burbs of GR, but his kids weren't private school brats. 2 of his 5 kids even turned out liberal. 1 I'm not really sure about, but I think she leans Republican, and the other 2 watch way too much Fox News. In fact, the one uncle I had to unfriend on social media because I didn't want to read his garbage anymore.

At what point does this become "fear mongering" (lack of a better term) among folks on the left? Yes, the candidate is clearly a loony bible thumper and it deserves a giggle. But at the same time, do they really have a chance at the race? Do we risk spurring the other side to start pushing their doofus because a few articles bash the loon and everyone R comes to their defense?

It just seems like a case of letting this sleeping dog lie since it has no chance as it stands.
