I hadn't heard that. Haven't been back since my parents moved several years ago. I went to Westminster High (some 20 years ago). I was an owl (or as Marylanders pronounced it "al").

@LindsayAWatts NEW: “No Zero”’policy at Churchill HS is over before it started. Today the principal sent a letter saying giving students 50% even if they did no work wasn’t in compliance w/ @MCPS policy.
MCPS didn’t know school was doing this before we contacted them.

Many state legislatures aren't full-time gigs. They often pay like they are, but most meet for just 4-6 months each year.

In his case, the better question is why/how a conservative talk radio host has time to be a state Senator. The answer is that both roles serve his primary mission of protecting and preserving white christian culture, and radio flourishes in the dark.

In Maine, legislatures make around $15K for the first session and around $10K for the second session (which is shorter). This is either a side gig for someone or they're wealthy.
