I dated a girl from Florence, and this is easily the most memorable thing that ever happened there*. Also one of the most apt, as the town has typically been inhabited by drunk loggers.

My GF's dad had 18 DUIs and still had his license. Dawn comes soon enough for the working class.

* Though I would pick the erection of the Siuslaw River Bridge, for my money one of the most beautiful structures in North America.

Yeah that's a good choice. It's VA, so you don't need a progressive home run, you just need to hold (at least for now). She'll hold the center while ticking some of the necessary boxes like pro-choice, and then let Winsome and "I taught my mom the pledge" battle it out for crazy town and scare the suburbs away.

My family is from Florence and that’s where my parents live part time now.

Edit: Read the article, not going to partially dox myself.
