Sorry, I can't design that bridge. I went to Florida, our College of Engineering only taught the basics. What's the First Law of Civil Engineering? Sheet flows downhill!
 
Jacksonville, the most populous city with a GOP mayor, no longer has a GOP mayor. The Dems flipped it.

If I read right that means Dems control 23 of the top 25 cities. That is just insane. And the party of law and order (dun dun) keeps losing on the crime issue.

Fort Worth is now the biggest GOP city. And this was DeSantis endorsed GOP candidate.

To put it in historical perspective, that county has not voted Democratic in a Presidential election since (not coincidentally) the Civil Rights Act was passed.

The county goes republican in every election, but the city has gone Dem for statewide candidates lately.
 
It's interesting how purple North Carolina that voted for Barack Obama somehow gerrrymandered themselves into a 12 week abortion ban. Which basically is a big Fuck You to Women's Health Care. Why would any self respecting Health Professional and/or women want to live or go to school there?

Didn't know this but not surprised.

Dr. Mrs. & I considered retiring there, for about 20 seconds. I'll say this: it's one of the most beautiful places in the world.

All the truly breath-taking places in America are populated by pond scum.
 
Andy Beshear will take on Trump-backed Daniel Cameron this fall in the premier race of 2023. My early gut feeling is Beshear is going to win. Cameron has a lot of baggage.
