No need. He'll outlaw the NCAA member institutions and replace them all with Trump U. franchises.
The NFL will be sweating it out too, given how they owned him in that USFL-NFL lawsuit. Which, actually wouldn't be that bad of an outcome.

Great. Now New York can be arrogant about its corruption, too.

Blue Dog Democrats writ large? I just don't get that move by a Bernie backer. Or is the IDC just a "in name only" group that is really moderate Rs in D districts and the only way to win is put a D by their name during primaries.

It makes perfect sense. It's the reason that it was good to be Anthony Kennedy all those years. If your vote can flip the decision, you have a lot of power. The IDC members are able to negotiate deals with the Democrats and the Republicans to give them influence that an otherwise small group wouldn't have.

The danger, of course, is when either the Republicans or Democrats get enough seats to control things without the IDC. Good luck then getting anything done that your group supports.

Re: The States: Mad Scientist Laboratories of Democracy

Or another way. You can now have your pet buried with you in NYS

I'm trying to figure out what the purpose of the prohibition was. First thought: lobbying by cemeteries trying to stick a family with extra charges ("gotta dig a separate hole, lady, plus a separate coffin...") but it appears from the link they're actually using the new law to do that. Only other thought: people were getting buried with their horses or something huge.

But no really, other than some religious magical thinking nonsense, what would be the purpose of the law? Public health? People murdering their pets to toss them in the grave like ancient Egypt?

Am I missing something obvious or is this Oregon won't let you pump your own gas?

A NJ Transit Pascack Valley line train has crashed at and into Hoboken Terminal. Multiple fatalities.

That's the train line my Dad and I used to take. It may have been the same train (it was).

TV reporters questions to witnesses are inane.

Terrible. Congratulations on successfully being in the correct place in all four dimensions.

Except paying somebody to hunt down these people and collect for such a tiny amount of money was actually costing the taxpayers more.

So, we don't know who they are or where they went? Why do they want to go back to Somalia so bad? I wonder how many European immigrants were traveling back and forth when they immigrated here. I bet it's near zero.

Re: The States: Mad Scientist Laboratories of Democracy

What's this we're pulling the fire alarm on this time?

First, source=Breitbart should be a huge clue. Of course, this isn't a 'massive government giveaway by a socialist state to terrorists'. Second, what's wrong if some Somalis want to visit their home lands. Pretty much all ex pats from about every country living overseas have a desire to visit home. That's super normal. Three, the number is tiny. Out of 25,000 state Somalis (their stats are old), just 50 to 75 are reported visiting their homelands annually. And they will be aging out quickly. Per the article, the cost of the change is less than $50,000. Lastly, the government is not 'giving them money'. The families are required to pay it back within two years. Breitbart 1, readers 0.
