Check out the shootout goal scored at the end of this clip. Sick move by the CSC shooter.

This video isn't anything special but check out some of the other videos this guy has done. Pretty good stuff. Castleton is a lucky to have this. Great work.

Oswego is playing Potsdam on Friday, I'm thinking there is no way they'll have the ice ready by then (not with a pipe ruptured). Any ideas where they will play since Clarkson has a games on Friday and Saturday?
Actually, the problem was being worked on today. From reliable sources, Maxcy should be ready to go by tomorrow.

Jan. 20, 1991 - Plattsburgh lost 6-2. (Their last matchup)
Cheel opened in the 81-82 season. As much as it is a very, very nice barn and could host a D-III final, (but hotels??), I still miss Walker / Clarkson Arena.

A few of us (still a minority) think that as more FBS schools enter D-I hockey, the days of the D-III play-ups are numbered.

Joecct....I think you mean Cheel opened in '91-'92. :)

I am sure that it is a typo, but Cheel opened in 91-92. I was present at the closing of the old barn March 16, 1991. Wisconsin was playing the first round of the NCAA's at Clarkson. It was a best of 3 series in those days. Utica College played Clarkson (everyting but hockey was/is D-III) quite a bit then. UC's athletic director called in some favors and got me a couple of tickets for the 2nd game. Wisconsin lost both games, the second one 4-5. And then they turned out the lights. (But I guess moved the bell????? )

Edit: Took me a bit to get all the details together so Saints17 beat me to the correction, but still cool that I was at the close...and I got me a Wisconsin NCAA tourney T-shirt that night. (Boy, it was a long ride home....)

If it was January, I believe it should be '92 - Clarkson was one of Plattsburgh's two losses in their 32-2-2 championship season (Elmira was the other). I also believe Plattsburgh notched the first two goals before Clarkson decided it was time to get serious. A fun tradition nonetheless; it's a shame that kind of matchup is out of the question nowadays.

You are correct, it was the 1991-92 season, the game was Jan. 20, 1992.

That video almost made me puke but it was a nice goal...:)

Why do you have such issue with Castleton? Their videos are a really high caliber as is their level of play. Acknowledge quality when it's this obvious.

I will. I like the video, it was a job well done but when I saw a shot of the "Spartan Arena" my blood started to boil and I almost lost my lunch.
