A great effort all the way around tonight. Congrats to the Friars! It is nice to know our team can not only win but knock off the #1 team in the country. Sweet goal by Mauermann to win, but I thought it was a good team effort. They stayed out of the box, for the most part, and played solid on both sides. Yoooo hoooo!

Great win for you guys you deserved it. Bunyon did not call a good game. I thought a there were penalties that should not have been called on both sides especially the trip you guys got on the hip check that led to a Merrimack powerplay.. Also thanks for the free live feed.

Great game tonight. Just like the old, old days. (I started going in 1974 and still think Ron Wilson is the best hockey player I ever saw.)

The Coffin was rocking tonight. It was an exciting game start to finish. As far as Bunyon, a good game is when he sucks equally bad for both teams. Lets learn to win on the road boys!

Props to the Friars on a gritty effort and a nice win. Agree with someone who thought it was a "team" win. Didn't see any one player who stood out to me, but a solid performance all around. Beaudry seems to have MC's number a bit....beat the Warriors twice last year and came up big tonite. Hope the atmosphere at Schnieder continues to get better and better as your team begins to have some success.

Great game between the two teams....Merrimack is the best team PC has played against this season and PC played right with them throughout the game so it is great to see this team playing well against good opponents.

Second best PC hockey game I have seen only behind a late 90's 1-0 PC loss to BU at Walter Brown in which the Terriers scored with like 30 seconds left.

NO. they're mine. :D :p

The student section was kinda/sorta perking up last night...I wish they all realized the magnitude of the win. I still can't believe it. Between PC beating Merrimack and NU beating ND by about a thousand I think the hockey world was a little off its axis last night...and I'm perfectly okay with that. Let's hope they finish off this stretch strong.

Second season in a row a Nate Leaman team knocks of the number one ranked team. Congratulations PC fans.

Merrimack is a very solid team thats for sure. But I believe Minnesota Duluth was a much better team.

PC already has 17 power play goals this season. Last season they had 15 total. It's the beginning of december...i like this whole "offense" thing.
