Re: The PPACA Thread Part V: Doctor! Doctor! Give me the news!

The line I heard on NPR this morning was steeper cuts to Medicaid to satisfy the nut job wing, but they're shifted to the end of the 10 year period so there's less immediate impact to satisfy the moderates.

Yeah, that's asinine, but that's their story and they're sticking to it.

Moderates today were nutjobs yesterday. The line keeps moving.

Not just red, but RED. Sucks for them. But some will make the excuse that they never wanted healthcare in the first place.

And that will be true. And they'll vote red all over again the next time.

"Name's McCain. Salty McCain."

Bet the old part time maverick, part time fraud still votes for it.

The most AMAZING part of this whole process is they had 7 years to come up with a plan and after Trump got elected they all stood in a room together and found out they didn't have one.

But, they did, they passed one in the House several times. But, for some reason that one can't pass. Who are these people? Where do they come from? And why are they elected to offices of importance?

There is .00000001% chance he votes against and that would only be if his vote doesnt matter.

How stupid is the 16% who dont know or dont have an opinion?

You've seen a rock before? Dumber than that.

Those are the voters who don't pay attention because they don't want to hear that their hero is a Yuge failure, but will gladly go to the polls in 2018/2020 and vote against their own self interests again.

You're talking about the blue collar workers putting in 12-hour days, then going home to watch some sports on TV, or watching some sports on TV while at the bar, going to bed, and doing it all over again the next day. They're not dumb, just ignorant. Well, many of them are dumb, but they just don't care about national events. And they likely don't vote, or at least not very often.

Uh, huh. Yet they were at tea party rallies all over the country and actually believed that Barack Obama was coming for their guns.
