With all due respect to the FBI, it isn't Apple's job to fight terrorism, so Apple should be more concerned with marketing.

Reminds me of a short story about Roberts (I think). After being pulled over for the first time in his life, he suddenly believed the fourth amendment precludes cops from prolonging traffic stops.

Amazing how personal experience changes one's opinions.

Good stuff. I welcome an election where a major issue is whether Donald Trump gets to make a SCOTUS nomination or not.

Yes it was. Everything John Oliver does is brilliant. Dare I say. Samantha Bee has been on fire with her new show as well.

Sadly they're safe - we're mostly talking about red state Senators here. The only one who, in theory, could remotely be challenged at the polls over this is Grassley, and he's been re-elected every year since 1986 by at least a 20 point margin, so yeah - forget it.

Seriously, I didn't even know Orrin Hatch was still in office. What is he, at least 80? *checks* Internet says 81.

I havent watched her show, but I probably should. John Oliver being on HBO is why the show is destined to be better than TDS. The things he can discuss and the depths of those discussions are incomparable.

No such vacancy ever occurred in 1992, and it's entirely likely that Biden would've been overridden in the political climate of the day.

So yes, it's a different situation, and not one that favors the Republicans, should they continue to play this game.
