Dx: the last three notes are supposed to be sung up like that, no one can properly hit them like Wayne and so they sing down.

Personally, I hate when the anthem is sung like a death march. Be proud of the homeland and sing it with gusto!

Lucky you. I can relate. I was at Toronto City Hall in 1972 when Team Canada came home after beating the Soviets. 100K-plus signing O Canada was something I'll never forget.

Or a jazz standard like the opening ceremonies. Michael Buble should have sung it!

Actually, according to this sheet they are supposed to go down the scale not up

So, NBC's coverage is so ****ty, and I care nothing about figure skating, I'm actually watching a replay of the Twins-Tigers game 163 from last year. Its going into the bottom of the 12th. :p

Best game I've ever been at and probably the best game I'll ever go to.

Olbermann has a few hundred thousand viewers, and sponsors who want to reach his demographic.

NBC does not want to spend the money on website maintenance for the winter games. They have a much larger budget for the summer games.

Yeah, that is probably true. I was at game 162, and that was awesome too! Best overall live sports moments for me:
US Women's open @ Interlochen, Annika's last competitive shot in the US, holed out an eagle from 200yds out.
Section championship, 2OT, to watch my high school go to state in hockey
Tech-NMU, what the younger Tech fans refer to as "the game"

edit: the NFC championship was awesome too, just can't put it on the list since the vikes choked it away

i dunno. that kerri strug (??) little girl in the atlanta olympics hurting her ankle then doing that horse thingy was pretty ****ing great.

The only one that really comes close to those or 163 is the sunday game of the UMN-Mankato WCHA playoffs last year or the 6-0 romping the Wild put on Dallas in 2000.

So, the same Canadian pair that fell last night, and got good scores, falls again tonight and still manages to make it into 2nd? God, I hate figure skating. :mad:
