Re: The Official "My team got screwed!" thread of the 2013 NCAA Hockey Tournament
With the BC game being at 9 PM EST the night before Easter, I'm not so sure BC is even gonna have a great turnout for this like they usually do for eastern regionals. Student turnout won't be great, that's for sure.
While this isn't a great BC team, you're right that this is the best regional for them. Doesn't mean they will take advantage of it, but it's the best shot they have.

You guys do realize that without BC, there would be about 100 people excited about attending in Providence for Quinnipiac, Canisius and Union. No offense to any of those programs, but that is not exactly an appealing group for the casual fan going to plunk down $80 a ticket.

The Regional in Providence looks like a BC Holiday Tourney....most years those other 3 schools could be brought in for BC to get two wins, two home gates. I mean seriously....at the beginning of the season if you told a BC fan that is what their Regional at the NCAA 's would look like, in order to get to the FF you have to beat Union and then the winner of Canisius and Quinnipiac...I think they (and most schools) would take that.
I know - things have changed, but I think a lot of BC fans - if they are being honest - would say they like their Regional over the other 3.
