If I'm Rex, I would do a presser from a bathroom stall just to take a stab at Ben.

If I'm Rex, I eat a snack. Then I eat another one. And another one. And another one.

Really, you won the game, you get to celebrate however you want. But i'm curious to see how they show up against the Steelers next week.

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

The Vikings announced that they've hired Mike Singletary as their linebackers coach and assistant head coach.

Cripes! Makes me wonder if more NFL teams will start going to go to male massage therapist just so they don't have these embressments with guys being all horndogs over a female massage therapist.

Um. They aren't really "massage therapists." They're hookers.

The only thing the NFL has to do is educate its players not to put anything on recordable media. Maybe they can have classes in that at Auburn*. The players might actually learn something in class.

(* they may not actually have electricity in Alabama, but the same principle applies for stone knives and bear skins)

This is PRECISELY why I highlight placeholders with bright red.

I dunno. Seems like typical Boston Globe quality to me. ;)

Deadspin has a wonderfully-written article on the laziness of what passes for "sports journalism." I can't link it directly because they have apparently not yet realized NSFW URL names are a bad idea, but it's the one that begins "The Meaning of..." Whoever the writer is he should be knighted --before this I hadn't seen a thoughtful and competently written sports article since Red Smith.

Don't have the link, but Tom Jackson backtracked to USA Today about his backtracking...

Basically, he was just upset that Bart Scott called him out and wanted to kiss Bart's *** in return.

Pretty decent Favre/LeBron parody:
<iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/POyFvDgV2cU" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>

Fair warning: lots of jokes about you know what.
