The reality is that UAH is a full member of the WCHA, and should be regarded as such.

My pair is fine. Let us know when your pair drops.

If UAH's game would have been postponed maybe they would have scored a goal.

Cos the part below my registered name where it says AKA - Drop The Puck and the part on my former blog where it has my first and last name isn't enough to make clear who I am?

There used to be this thing called the USCHO Newbie Guide ... you should read the WCHA section.

will you all stop with the childishness!.I totally support having Huntsville here, but I doubt that if anyone else had been in the same boat there would have been a different result. No one is dissing you, really.

I'd say this league race is the most exciting I've seen in many years. Anchorage in third, but facing two very tough series to finish the season. Hard to see them getting more than a split out of it and finishing with 30 points. We have a similar situation for Alaska, and splits get them to 28 points.. NMU has games in hand and plays Huntsville, they could easily finish with 29.. Bemidji also plays Huntsville and could move way up, hard to see them with more than 28 points though.. BG has to go to nmu next week, but they get Freiburgs back. I can see them with 28 easily.

Not only is this going to the last weekend, it's going down to the last game.
No matter what happens the home teams are going to get to the playoffs and say to themselves, " we have to play them?, oh **** "

The calendar may say the playoffs start March 14, but they are underway. The fact that not everyone will make the playoff makes not only each series, but each game critical. A good example is last night's NMU-LSSU game. With a loss, NMU may have struggled just to make the playoffs, but with a win, they now sit 3 pts out of 4th with two games in hand.

With Anchorage playing at Fairbanks on the final weekend, it's possible that no one knows where and who they are playing until the final game ends!

Please go back and re-read the beginning of this unfortunate exchange. gfmorris was upset that the league wouldn't reschedule his team's series from Fri/Sat to Sat/Sun because of weather and travel issues. He goes on to suggest that there is some sort of conspiracy or bias against his team "if it had been so-and-so the decision would have been different". I call that B.S..

What I said in response was and is simple reality; "Deal with it, or go back to being an independent." Those are the only two options you have. I NEVER suggested that they ought to do one or the other, and I certainly never said ANYTHING to suggest that UAH is or ought to be anything less that a "full member of the WCHA."

Several of you fellows are WAYYYYY too sensitive, hence my suggestion that some of you need to grow a pair. I said it and stand by it.

PS: I'm not wild about having uaafanblog on my side of any argument:(

I highly doubt that the series would have been delayed for anyone else, although in the CCHA days, it would have shocked me if they would have been more accommodating to one of its marquee schools. I was a bit surprised that they didn't move the start time back 30 minutes or an hour though.
