Alternate years for who's home and I bet that problem goes away. I mean, I'd drive to BG on pretty short notice, but I'm nuts.

But I was talking playoffs, in which home ice would be determined by standings. Regular season, yes, playoffs, no.

You know what makes <strike>your</strike> every tournament situation a lot easier? Skip the first round and go straight to the neutral site. Not sure if it makes it more profitable, though.

Feel free to send Sault Ste Marie's residents $1,000 a piece and we will be happy to come up there. Apparently you make $200,000/ year so you can afford random trips 2 or 3 times a year. This has EVERYTHING to do with money and not about us being p.ussies. You, sir, are an incompetent fool.

First. I didn't get personal. 2nd, currently UAA and UAF pay between 50% and 100% of your schools travel. 3rd, your school(s) get extra home games EVERY year to recover the cost + of having come up here.

4th --- read something before answering me you sniveling stupid f.ucking piece of s.hit.

...

No, we get two extra games to do whatever the hell we want with (home or away).

And with the conference alignment, I would bet that future non-Conf games will be mostly away games.

Excuse me if I take you calling us "p.ussies" personally. Im guessing everyone else on this blog would feel the same way. The reason our fans don't travel to Alaska is because its $1,200 a plane ticket, and that's after we spend $200 in gas traveling to Detroit.

I don't want to speak for everyone on here, but I think most will agree that the above statement throws your opinion on just about everything out the window. Childish.

That's not a bad idea. That would be a heck of an end of season hockey weekend and all the teams could book their flights in advance. The only question would be, do you really let all 10 teams in? With 10 teams you're looking at a four-day tourney with 1 and 2 getting byes the first two days in my mind. Also hard to hold fans' interest for four days.
Thursday - 3v10, 4v9, 5v8, 6v7
Friday - 3v6, 4v5
RESEED AFTER FRIDAY
Saturday - 1v4, 2v3
Sunday - 1v2, 3v4

That's a brutal weekend for anyone seeded 3rd or lower if they keep winning.

I have a boobs.beer.patriotism t-shirt design worked out. This is going to be sweet.

I'd go with one scheme for each team. And I would totally buy one.
My aunt screenprints and embroiders shirts as a business. I will do some digging, and probably have one made with neutral colors, take some pics and post them. The one I put together on an online t-shirt maker with neutral colors was a charcoal colored shirt with medium gray writing, looked pretty sharp.

Once again, we bring something to the table: Southern women who get to tan in natural sunlight for several months of the year.

Are the Alaska Fans going to get stuck with all the set up fees? Because all the poor mouth school fans won't want to pay more than $5.00 a pop w/ free postage, and don’t overlook those AL fans everyone will want the "wife beater" style.
