I'm going to double post here because seriously, I have been waiting for 12 years for someone to set me up to refer to myself as super duper, and now, because I do indeed have an extraordinarily high opinion of myself, I am not only going to take advantage of that opportunity, but I am going to beat that dead horse clean into the ground!

This is nonsense where UNO is concerned (save Miami, who isn't a draw). Didn't you see my earlier post on the effects of these teams on UNO's attendance? To say it's had an impact is an understatement. 3 of the 10 largest crowds in UNO history involve North Dakota and Denver. And we've only played DU a grand total of 12 times at home and North Dakota a grand total of 6 times at home. That's a pretty big representation of the entirety of program history for just 18 opportunities to get on the UNO top 10 list.

And, the only other teams on that list beside DU and North Dakota are Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Minnesota. DU and North Dakota occupy position #'s 3,7, & 8 on that list.

The smallest of these crowds is 11,181!

The most fans UNO has ever averaged in a season is 8,314 (which they ironically didn't even do in the building they now play in).

I like how davy likes to pretend he's trolling this thread, but he's actually really that bitter. It seems to be a theme with a number of WCHA fans.

So you had to change the subject because of the lack of recent accomplishments of nWCHA teams? How sad.

I think Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech should combine teams. Their fans could get together at the games and have a good cry about how they were left behind. Their logo could be like the "No smoking" signal, but instead of a cigarette it would be the NCHC logo.

Not bitter anymore, just working their way to the NCAA tourney in the next couple seasons.
Then, will get a shot at you guys as did Ferris and Mankato this year.
Tech should be much improved again next year and excited to get Michigan and UMD at the MaC.
