How odd.
I'd always been under the impression sharks preferred salt water.
Oh well, if you're from up there, and you say there's sharks in Superior, it's OK by me.
I wouldn't want to be known as some jackhole that comes on websites and starts arguments.

I'm sorry to see Coach Owens go. The last 2 seasons were pretty rough, but who knows what the dynamics of that were. I hope that he can be replaced by a quality coach who can return CC to national prominence. Aside from the fact that the DU/CC rivalry is more fun when both teams are good (and obviously I hope DU improves significantly in the next few years), I want to see the NCHC be more of a factor as a whole.

I hope that anybody with a head coach vacancy takes a look at a guy named Dennis Williams. He made MAJOR improvement at d3 Neumann back in 2005-07, and is 132-28 in three seasons at Amarillo in the NAHL. Don't let that 5-25-6 record at BGSU scare you off, he did more than anybody could have expected with the mess he inherited there. He's a winner, and a top rate guy.

I would laugh so hard if Gwoz went to CC...for so many different reasons. :p:D:D

That being said, I've also heard some rumors that Rud is the front-runner at this point in time. It probably doesn't help Gwoz's chances that the NHL season is still going on, and the Lightning will be playing in the playoffs.

Williams will be coaching in the USHL next year.

I'm pretty sure Dennis is headed to run the new USHL franchise in Bloomington...

He'll be with the new Bloomington USHL team which is owned by the same company as the NAHL Amarillo Bulls that he's been coaching and an NA3HL team whose coach will step up to Amarillo. Nice to see Willie get a chance to move up. First class guy.

What are the boards like at the Broadmoor? He'd want to walk them before interviewing, I would think.
