What super conference?
The Big East in basketball.
The SEC is in football.
The WCHA in hockey?
No. The NCHC. The SEC of college hockey. North Dakota is the Alabama. Denver is the LSU. Miami is the Florida. In reality, none of those are even Louisiana-Monroe when it comes to drawing outside their home market.

The WCHA is to college hockey as the Big East is to basketball. All the good teams left and now it is a joke of a conference.

The NCHC got a team in the Frozen Four, WCHA didnt. NCHC had 3 teams in the tourney, WCHA had 2.
This year wasn't great but that was with the two biggest programs in the conference Denver and North Dakota losing nearly their whole teams after last year and Miami crapping the bed.

Please tell me why the great Fighting Sioux could barely outdraw Northern Michigan or Bowling Green at Western or Miami? How did CC or Denver do? Any better than Ferris or Fairbanks. You guys are super. You should be able to fill rinks beside your own.

I'm just trying to remember the last time North Dakota ended our season. Wasn't Gino still coaching? Wasn't Hakstol a player? Or was that Rusty Parent or Bernie Pascall?
