A lot of good the #1 seed did for Notre Dame last year (and Minnesota too for that matter). But hey, better a #3 seed than no seed at all!

Why are you talking trash, dim-bulb? Your team basically needs the auto bid to make the tournament at all. They only have a 41% chance of making it with only one win. If this conference makes any waves in the NCAAs it will be St. Cloud making them.

Actually, this is true.

He was awful. If that's the case, it would be one of the few instances of the Athletic Department actually listening to the fans.

He was sorta the "Mr. Rogers" of organists. Every time he played something I had Lawrence Welk flashbacks.

Slamming Lawrence Welk was sacrilege in our house. My mom, bless her soul, just loved that guy.

I suppose it's possible if the your partner (Didier) covers for you. But his partner probably should have had or at least shared the award.

Plus he must have been a shutdown guy in his own end to win both. I didn't see much of him (defensively) to remember but I sure do remember Didier because he took out Benik 3 times.

Denver should be another dangerous team like Miami today with both Didier and LaLeggia back from injuries.

Super Conference??? Hahahahhahahahaha....look at all those fans dressed up as empty seats. And everyone from Grand Forks is headed home after the consolation. With Ferris State playing in the WCHA championship, there might be more butts in the seats in Grand Rapids than there will be for Miami-Denver in Minneapolis. But those schools along with North Dakota that put this all together, so it will be good for them to play in front of a "crowd" that would have trouble filling Ridder.

I'm a little unclear about what the quality of the conference has to with the number of people in the seats.

Care to elaborate?

It would appear a few schools greatly overestimated their appeal. They've turned one great tourney and one fairly decent event into three lackluster shows. I'd go so far as to call the Big Ten in St Paul an embarrassment and the Target Center showing isn't much better. Grand Rapids, about as expected. It was a less than brilliant idea to play two tourneys in the same metro at the same time. This is no reflection on the fans of these schools. It's a reflections on a few egos at a few schools. Another major shuffle will come.
