I get ocular migraines once every 6-9 months. Started about 5 years ago. Flashing lights radiating outward over the course of 30 minutes, followed by some mild nausea. Thankfully no real headache with it for me, but I know others will get the full migraine experience. First time it happened freaked me the fark out. Now I just recognize the first symptoms and plan accordingly.
Did you talk to the doctor about that?
Well, all signs were pointing to a herniated disk.
Barely slept the nights previous to last night. I was able to make it the entire evening without ice packs or nsaids. I'm also able to stand and sit for longer periods of time. Which seems quick for the constant pain to fade for a disk. I also have full range of motion except for bending forward, which is still painful.
Either way. My posture has improved almost overnight. Which certainly helps. Hopefully it's just a frightening muscle pull because I have to fly to Missouri for work on Monday.
Back is very much on the mend.
Now I ****ed up my hip. Likely because of exertion and strain from using other muscles for the back. This feels like a fcucked up hip labrum. I messed mine up almost 8 years ago to the day. Healed after a couple weeks. Excruciating to bend over, sit down, or stand up.
My SIL played hockey for Bowdoin. Apparently, and I only learned this via her need for surgery, that when women play hockey, the leg and hip positioning during the game can cause XYZ thing that then leads to a tearing of one or both of their hip labrum. She’s now in discussion about a hip replacement for her right hip joint because the labrum repair surgery only lasts so long.Back is very much on the mend.

When I went in to have a hip checked, after the x-ray, the doctor came in and with a very serious tone said, “it seems like a classic case of TMB.” I fell for it, and obligingly asked, “What’s TMB?”Sounds like you might have the Creeping Olds, dx.
