Re: The Greatest Programs of All-Time: #1-#59

Good for you--working for it. Hope to stay in Co?

Yeah. My wife and I have been down here now for about 8 years, and I don't think we'll move anytime soon. Of course, if the right opportunity came we would consider moving.

Sounds like a lot of work but a good opportunity.

Agreed. Nothing like a good old fashioned trial to make you realize everything they teach you in law school is bunk :p:D:D In all seriousness, it has been a tremendous experience. The firm I'm working at is stellar, and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

To hell with school. Get the rankings posted. ;) :D

:p:D:D I know, I know...I'm slacking.

Priorities! Your job, or your internet "friends"??

It's tough. I'll tell you what, if you guys can pony up about $10k, I'll call in sick for a month and get this list completed properly. :p:D:D

Look, with your trial and school and all, we completely understand if you just cut to the chase with

#1 - UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA FIGHTING SIOUX

Enough foreplay already

Just keeping this thread on the first page.

Hope that the trial is going well for your team, FS.

Trial went very well. Jury got the case yesterday afternoon. Now the fun begins

As Tom Petty once said...the waiting is the hardest part.

I'm sure a few people here have a suggestion on a constructive way for you to pass the time while you wait....

Re: The Greatest Programs of All-Time: #1-#59

Just thought I'd let every know...the jury returned with a favorable verdict for our side! Client will wind up with about 700k, and our firm will end up with about the same. Not too shabby. :p:D:D

Needless to say, we're going to party pretty good tonight, so I don't know how functional I'll be tomorrow. I'll shoot for Saturday to start the top half of the programs, and I'll try for 1-2/day.

What's that, FS, 100k for every day you were AWOL here, where all of us depend on you? Not enough.

We'll give you a pass this time, but don't let it happen again.

Well...if people here weren't so stingy and would just fork up enough to cover my costs, then we wouldn't be having this issue. :p:D:D

Oh, and the countdown will resume shortly...

#29 - Colgate Raiders
All-Time Record (Division 1): 959-892-120 (.517)
NCAA Tournament Appearances: 5 (1981, 1990, 2000, 2005, 2014)
NCAA Tournament Record: 3-6
Frozen Four Appearances: 1
Best Result: National Runner Up (1990)
Conference Championships: Regular Season - 3 (ECAC - 1989-1990, 2003-2004, 2005-2006) Tournament - 1 (ECAC - 1990)
National Championships: 0
Points Earned - 31.9207
Change: 1.2874 (+ 4.20%)
Last Season Position: 27 (down 2 spots)

The Colgate Raiders come in at #29. The Raiders returned to their winning ways in 2013-2014, winning 20 games for the first time since 2005-2006, and returning to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005. As a result of their strong season and return trip to the NCAA Tournament, the Raiders added over a point to their totals. While Colgate has a strong lead over the teams directly below them, this past season was a good example of how even a relatively strong season can still leave you falling in these rankings. Hopefully for the Raider faithful, Colgate can get on a run and make a couple more NCAA Tournaments, and perhaps take home some hardware. Colgate will have the tools available to make that sort of run, as the Raiders return their top 9 scorers, top netminder, and entire blue line. If they can put together a season similar to what their ECAC brethren Yale and Union have done this season, they will be shooting up this list. For now, they sit at #29.
