The Great Badger Coaching Search of '23: Start Drinking Heavily

I guess. This guy has been OBSESSED with Ty ALL year. It’s kind of creepy.

I went over onto the Q thread and gave him a hard time about it The 1st time around.. And he disappeared for weeks.

We must be going to hear some news today about the the assistants.

Luke Strand new Mankato head coach. I know Andy Johnson talked highly of Luke back when he was assistant under Eaves.

Outstanding news on Knott! Rated the best recruiter this past year based on TMs article.

Now they need to fill out the other two, including a legit goalie coach.

Any word if Andy Brandt is being retained?

At the opening press conference for Hastings, he was there sitting with the rest of the staff that was kept on and when we were walking out we ran into him and I asked him if he was staying on he said it was still to be determined.

I suspect the new director of operations will be the Mankato guy who is a UW grad and worked in the Hockey dept a couple of years Luke Regner https://msumavericks.com/staff-directory/luke-regner/331.

They also get a paid 4th coach starting June 1 or July 1 so Hastings still needs 2 assistants.

Pavs beats traitor Kessel to 1000 points.

Pretty good run for a central WI kid who never played AAA hockey or with the USNTDP. Without fanfare, he simply won wherever he went except unfortunately the NHL (yet).

He is indeed a hockey "Swiss Army Knife".

Regarding the coaching staff, I guess I'm surprised to see Knott come along, BUT a good tag team wins the belt. Also, I'd like a clean slate, NO coaches retained. They're all part of the problem.
