My Erdos sex number for Sarah Palin is now at most 3. Kepler -- Not Dr Mrs -- Ron Duguay -- Palin.

Happily she came after so she's the one who has to get tested, not me.

More legitimate political discourse.

Police in the US state of Kentucky have apprehended an individual who entered the office of a local politician on Monday morning and shot at him.

Craig Greenberg, running to be Louisville's next Democratic mayor, later tweeted his team was safe and he would provide an update in due course.

According to police, the shots hit Mr Greenberg's clothing but nobody was injured by the lone shooter.

Dreamboat done playin'.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday activated rarely used emergency powers in an effort to end protests that have shut some U.S. border crossings and paralyzed parts of the capital. Under the Emergencies Act, the government introduced measures intended to cut off protesters' funding and took steps to reinforce provincial and local law enforcement with federal police.

"The blockades are harming our economy and endangering public safety," Trudeau told a news conference. "We cannot and will not allow illegal and dangerous activities to continue."

If this were America and DC was under siege, they would've been cleared already - Trudeau has just been too nice and/or worried about optics. You have a right to assemble for a protest, but you don't have a right to protest whenever and wherever and in whatever manner. Your right to assemble ends when it substantially interferes with the rights of others to go about their business, enjoy public spaces, and use public transportation in a reasonably safe manner.

In America the instant it affects corporate profits we get a whiff of grapeshot.
