Here is the DOJ memo on Bannon.

“Since my first day in office, I have promised Justice Department employees that together we would show the American people by word and deed that the department adheres to the rule of law, follows the facts and the law and pursues equal justice under the law,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “Today’s charges reflect the department’s steadfast commitment to these principles.”

“As detailed in the indictment, on Sept. 23, 2021, the Select Committee issued a subpoena to Mr. Bannon,” said U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves for the District of Columbia. “The subpoena required him to appear and produce documents to the Select Committee, and to appear for a deposition before the Select Committee. According to the indictment, Mr. Bannon refused to appear to give testimony as required by subpoena and refused to produce documents in compliance with a subpoena.

Obviously...but the courts really can't do much about that.

Bannon indictment makes me happy.
 
I very much regret looking up maps of capitol offices like five days before the insurrection on the Congressional website. I was curious about the layout after reading an article and didn't think we would have a literal insurrection days later.

Even now I'm half expecting a call from the FBI to come down to Minneapolis to answer some questions. I'm also very confident my internet and phone records were pulled at some point.

I think it's a little different if you were in DC on the 6th or had heavy contact with those who were, versus just being someone doing it somewhere at random.

I'm sure Narus raised an eyebrow at some of my posts predicting Dump and the Nazis would try to use violence to foment a crisis and suspend orderly transfer of power. I assume the reasons I didn't get more interest were (1) the rest of my browsing and social media history makes that look like a church social, and (2) it was so blatantly obvious the only people who didn't know it was going to happen were the media and the portion of law enforcement not implicated.

I realize it has to be done, but 100% guaranteed now when Republicans take charge again they will be jailing journalists and Dems. Then they will blame the Dems for starting it, just like they blamed Obama for starting the breaking the filibuster for Judges. Of course they will do it anyway, so prob just gotta lock him up.
